BEWARE the picture you are about to see might be disturbing

I can't believe I'm posting this... but it is super creepy and hilarious. A few days ago my husband insisted I let him draw on my belly. Well here are the results... freaky fetus. We sent the picture to a few people and here are their responses...

Me: Brett's practicing his artwork.

Jessica S.: That's disgusting. Scott thinks it's hilarious

Summer M.: That is kinda scary... Lol you guys must be having too much fun.

Mom: ----------no reply

Jacob:----------no reply

Dad: He needs to work on his artwork

Camille T.: Everyone here thinks the pic is a little creepy. You were obviously bored.

Tough Cookie

For sure ready to have this baby... The last few days have been way rough trying to get him to come! I had my membranes stripped at my 39 weeks, lots of walking, taking Prim Rose Oil and acupuncture etc. ;) Which I'll have you know acupuncture doesn't hurt. BUT between all these things I have had the worst contractions! But... not good enough to go in :(

I'm a bad a-- momma mowing the lawn at 39 1/2 weeks. Yeah that's right!

Oh Salt Water Sandals... I will always and forever love you and will never grow too old to wear you. So comfy and my feet fit in them because they are a little bit of a wider shoe. My hands and feet have been so bloated and in pain the passed few weeks!

Going Natural! Ah!

I have to start out and say that I have always been 100% give me the epidural because I don't want to feel any pain! But... then I started to do my research a few month before my due date. I did a lot of research! And I changed my mind and wanted to go all natural.

It is actually super sad to me that most people spend more time researching the new phone they want to buy, what school they want to go to or anything else! And don't do any research on what they want for their birth. They just know they don't want pain! And I'm not saying an epidural is a bad thing, don't get me wrong. But it's sad to me that such a big choice is lightly decided and so trusting.

There are many reason why I want to do natural. I can walk around, go to the restroom, eat, recover faster, less stress on my baby etc. I could go on much more. There are lots of pros and cons for an epidural and I feel like the only real big con for natural is that is hurts lol! But with the knowledge I know I feel like in away it's a super spiritual and a bond with my baby and my body was made for this! So I will feel very accomplished.

I am definitely flexible with my birth plan because I want what is best for my baby. My goal is to do natural all the way. If you have never taken really much time to research I really recommend you do. Even if you still want an epidural it's great to know what your options are. Here's how to help you get started.

Research (what it does to you and the baby. Cause effect. What is that? Etc.)-

Inducing your labor
Epidural
Doula
Birth Center/ Hospital
Midwife/ Doctor
Birthing in a tub (a lot of people think this is weird! Learn why people do it ;)
Forceps/ vacuum
C-section
...and so much more!!!

Here are some great books! Also a great movie to watch is The business of being born(Netflix).

Elder Jacob George Glenn

We are so excited for my little brother Jacob to serve his mission! Just a few days ago he opened his mission call to Chihuahua Mexico LDS mission Nov. 20, 2013! Jacob is such an amazing young man. He is one of the most kind, honest and funny people I know. I really enjoy spending time with him and it will for sure be VERY hard to see him leave for 2 years but this will be the best thing ever! He has such a strong testimony of the gospel and will touch so many lives. I love this man so much!

Waiting for dad to get home so he can open his call

Reading where he will be going!

So excited and happy! Bonus, he knows a little Spanish!

Why he is amazing...

Works very long hours to provide for us both and our soon to be new baby
Bought me a cute little home that I love so much
He tiled my kitchen :)
Always willing to do new things
Wanting to learn
Looks at me and says guess what? And I say what...(thinking chicken butt) and he says I love you and did you know your amazing?
Loves to self improve
A very good listener
Has put up with me for almost 4 years :)
As much as I get sooo SICK of Dave Matthews I love that he gets so into the music
Has learned that as long as I don't see it... it doesn't bother me!
When I'm sad he is understanding and holds me tight and very sincere and says I'm so sorry
Pretty good cook!
Gentleman opening the door for me
I am O.C.D. and I have a certain way for everything and he just goes with the flow
I don't have brains like he does... I do in different ways but he is the book smart and I'm glad that one of us has that!
Loves to stay fit
He is so adorable when he cries (he would totally kill me if he read this but he has never looked at my blog!)
So humble
I will never forget on our wedding day when we were waiting to be sealed and it was just the both of us and he said to me that he couldn't make it through this life without me
He hates being the fix it man but when he does he does a good job!
He always says that he doesn't deserve me but he has it wrong... he is the most amazing person I know. We belong together.

Going in for the ear nibble

Got hit for the nibble
Thinking of making his move once again

Death glare for giving the ear nibble

I do have one more from our wedding day but couldn't find it...

"Pregnant”

I can only sleep and watch Netflix in bed for so long. Very bored in bed so I wrote a poem to all the ladies that are pregnant or have been. I call it "Pregnant” lol... Sometimes I find myself hilarious.

I can smell a fart a mile away
I have to sleep during the day
Heartburn
Aches
Pains
Can't eat
Can't sleep
Can't breathe
... I think I just peed...
No more pretty high heels
Miss the way I use to feel
Jabs in the ribs
I always get dibs
Sick of the hiccups
Pee`n in the cups
Once again weighing
Wait...what was I saying?
Oh yes...
Its all worth it
When you birth it
Waddle...waddle...waddle...
Away!!!

Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler

1 stick ( 1/2 cup) butter
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
... 1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 quarts whole strawberries, capped and washed (or any other fruit is good!)
4 ounces cream cheese, cut in small pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and pour into a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour directly over the butter in the baking dish, but do not stir.

Add the strawberries, arranging in a single layer as much as possible. Sprinkle cream cheese pieces over strawberries. Place in preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbling. (Crust rises up and around the fruit, but fruit will still peek out of top.)
